A first calender year female Hen Harrier hunting at North Ings, Low Marishes this morning, also a Short-eared Owl. A Hooded Crow at Seamer Tip, in fields to the south mid morning. A Guillemot and five Kittiwakes at the harbour. At Potter Brompton Carr were 327 Teal,9 Wigeon, Peregrine,150 Lapwings,18 Dunlin and a Woodcock. Another Woodcock at Marine Drive narrowly escaped a Peregrine!

A "ringtail" Hen Harrier and Green Sandpiper south of Seamer Tip. A first-winter Kittiwake was an unusual find inland at the large pool near the tip, four Dunlin were at the Taylor Way pool, also Short-eared Owl again near the pools. A first-winter Little Gull was feeding off East Pier, 3 Kittiwakes, 8 Shags and a Great Crested Grebe in South Bay. A flock of 100 Fieldfares were in a field along the main road east of the Foxhound pub at Flixton.

The first-winter Little Gull gave close views at the harbour mouth today but was reported in a poor state of health by late afternoon. No sign of the Langdale Forest Great Grey Shrike today, a male Stonechat and 19 Meadow Pipits at Stony Rigg plus 50+ Crossbills between there and Derwent Head. Three Gadwall at Burton Riggs and five Dunlin at Seamer Tip pools. 30 Corn Buntings, 40 Yellowhammers at Potter Brompton Carr. Water Rail at Star Carr footbridge. At Harwood Dale Lake still 2 Tundra Bean Geese, a Pink-footed Goose and a drake Gadwall still.
